Arbor Day at Meadow Brook

VOLUNTEER WITH US AND HELP THE ESTATE GROW

Celebrate Arbor Day at Meadow Brook by volunteering to plant trees

Rochester Hills will get a little greener when residents and volunteers gather to plant trees and celebrate the community’s outdoor engagement efforts at the annual Arbor Day Ceremony.

This year’s event will celebrate Oakland University’s and the City of Rochester Hills’ dedication to tree planting, conservation, and environmental stewardship.

Volunteers are needed to participate in the outdoor community workday as part of the Woodland Restoration Program. ReLeaf Michigan’s tree experts will be there to show volunteers how to plant a tree and oversee the event. Please wear closed-toe shoes and bring a shovel, hard rake, and gloves if you have them. Event
occurs rain or shine. No planting experience necessary. Families are welcome!

Meadow Brook Hall’s 2024 Arbor Day event was planned in partnership with Oakland University, the City of Rochester Hills, ReLeaf Michigan and Sav-A-Tree. Many thanks to the DTE Foundation for the generous grant in support of our efforts.
